Jenna and Christian’s Elopement at the Marin County Civic Center

This was one of those days where I kept forgetting I was at work.

Jenna and Christian spent the week roadtripping through Northern California — they saw the sights, ate good food, got matching tattoos. And towards the end of their trip, they took a quick pit stop at the iconic Marin County Civic Center, slipped rings on each others’ fingers, and got hitched.

This historic building was a photographer’s playground — golden light streaming down a mile long skylight, big bold colors, and that signature FLW touch. Couldn’t think of a dreamier place for an elopement. I could’ve spent twelve more hours here.

After exploring every last corner of this building, we made a quick coffee stop before heading to Muir Beach for one final round of portraits. Christian threw on his favorite Suns hat. Jenna put on a cozy cardigan. And I love how much these simple accessories added so much more personality to their looks.

So thankful to have gotten to spend such a special day with these two. These two, with their incredible taste in style and their killer sense of humor and their warm personalities. Put all of these things together, and you get some of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken.
