Eunice Beck

A destination wedding guide to getting married in Mallorca, including the best wedding venues and a Mallorca wedding photographer.

Eunice Beck is a documentary and film photographer specializing in weddings and elopements in destinations worldwide.

As someone who loves mediterranean architecture, modern art, and landscapes where the desert meets the ocean, Mallorca is my creative dreamland.

It’s easy to see why this island is becoming a hot spot for weddings —with acres of olive groves, fincas on every corner, and over 200 calas and beaches to choose from, this is the perfect place to host you (and your guests) for the perfect wedding getaway.

With over a dozen countries and 15 international weddings under my belt, I am well prepared to help you plan the destination wedding of your dreams — one that prioritizes the love you have for your partner, and all of the memories and feelings you want to experience on your one and only day.

Below, you’ll find all of my best wedding recommendations for Mallorca. I hope you find something that inspires you.

The Best Wedding Venues in Mallorca

Es Raco D’Artá

If you want the feel of a private villa but the luxuries of being in a hotel, I would recommend Es Raco d’Artá. Nestled on the north side of the island in the Artá mountains, this finca turned wellness retreat is the perfect place for those looking for a smaller wedding (100 guests or less).

With 34 rooms and casitas throughout the property, a full service restaurant, two pools, a spa, a yoga room, and acres of gardens to explore, you and your guests can experience a full vacation without ever leaving the property gates. But if you’re looking to see more, you’re also just a short drive away from some of the best hikes on the island as well as some of the greatest beaches Mallorca has to offer.

In this secluded area of the mountains, you’ll feel like you have the island all to yourself. For my fellow nature lovers looking for the perfect outdoor wedding venue, this is the place to go. Click here to learn more!

Hotel Corazón

For my fellow creatives who want a space filled with curated details and cool art, I would recommend Hotel Corazón. Run by artist duo Kate Bellm and Edgar Lopez, this place is a real feast for the eyes — contemporary paintings tied with vintage furniture and mountain views on every side.

With 15 unique rooms, a farm-to-table restaurant and a pool with an ocean view, this boutique hotel is the perfect place for intimate weddings (40 people or less) and elopements. It’s just a ten-minute drive from Deià, one of my favorite towns on the island, where you could grab a coffee at de moniö or share dinner at the infamous Restaurant Nama before snapping photos through the town streets.

If you want to turn a cool artists retreat into your own wedding villa for a week, this is the perfect place.

La Residencia

For those that want an everything in one place so we don’t have to lift a finger experience, I would recommend La Residencia, a Belmond Hotel. Located in the heart of Deiá, this place is the creme de la creme of luxury hotels.

With 67 rooms, a Michelin-recommended restaurant, and a spot right in the center of town, this is the ultimate place for those that want an all-in-one experience. This is perfect for those wanting a multi-day wedding — with indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts with mountain views, an in-house spa, and a range of guided activities (like hikes, donkey rides, or yoga!), you and your guests can get some of the best island experiences without ever having to leave the hotel. Plus, the front gates open right to the center of the town so you can walk to some of the best shops on the island, including PANELA and Obsolete.

For those looking for a true luxury experience, there’s no better place than La Residencia.

The Neuendorf House

For lovers of minimalist architecture, I would recommend The Neuendorf House, an artists residency located just ten minutes outside of Santanyí.

Envision olive trees against limewash pink walls and carefully curated wooden details all throughout the space. Stunning on it’s own, but simple enough to get really creative with your own details.

In addition to coming with its own pool and tennis court, the home is also just a short drive away from one of the most charming towns on the island, where you can visit the weekly street market or grab a spritz on the town square. It’s also close by to some of the best beaches in Mallorca, including Cala S’Almunia and Calo del Moro.

For those looking for a private space with artistic details, The Neuendorf House is the perfect spot.

Finca Morneta

For those that are looking for more of a traditional wedding venue, I would recommend Finca Morneta, a 13th century finca located in the center of the island.

With both outdoor and indoor capabilities, this venue is able to customize the space to your needs — whether you’re looking for a ceremony in the garden, a cocktail hour in the historic dining room, a dinner around the pool, or a dance party in the wine cellar. With room for up to 300 guests, this finca is well-equipped for any wedding, big or small.

This venue is also just 30 minutes outside of Palma, where you and your guests can have access to some of the best restaurants, bars and hotels that the island has to offer.

For those that want the true finca experience, this venue is the perfect spot.

Private Estates (for Small Gatherings)

For those that are looking for a private home to host a small group of their closest family and friends, there are a handful of beautiful villas on the island that make for the perfect spot for intimate gatherings and elopements. Check out my recommendations below:

A Manor in Deiá

Sa Cova, a Villa in Fornalutx

Finca Son Seriol in Inca

  • To experience warm weather without the big crowds, I’d recommend anywhere between April - early June as well as September-October.

If you don’t mind busier crowds, the beaches are incredible in the summers (between late June - August). Just be sure to book your vendors as soon as you can!

  • Before we dive in, it’s important to note that it will never take more than 1.5-2 hours to get from one point of the island to the other. So if you don’t mind a little drive, it’s really easy to hop from town to town. But if you’re looking to stick to one area of the island, this section is for you.

For those that want the big city feel, stay in Palma. Here, you’ll find the widest variety of restaurants, bars, hotels, museums, and shops.

For those that want to stay in a quiet town with lots of beach access, stay in Santanyí. This city is perfect for those wanting that charming, locals-only, small town feel. Santanyí is also close to some of the best beaches on the island, so if you’re looking for lots of time in the ocean, this is the place to be.

For those that love nature, stay in Artá. This is the more mountainous region of the island, where you’ll find the most hiking trails, but you’ll still be close to some really great beaches.

For those who want to indulge in a bit more luxury, stay in Deiá. This town is popular among celebs for good reason. Here, you’ll find some of the best restaurants and views on the island, and it’s a great central spot to see other popular towns like Soller and Valdemossa.
